Q. Is there an easy way to copy files from my Powerbook to my Desktop?
A. There are a lot ways to do this. If you don't have a network, you have Powerbook Disk Mode. This is how you turn your Powerbook into a hard drive on your desktop, with the stroke of one key or You can use a crossover network cable. Apple even provides software to do synchronizing.
Q. Should I add a SCSI card to my G4 so I can use my old SCSI scanner?
A. Well, if you have a low-mid-range scanner, no. The SCSI card will cost you about the same as a new, and probably, better scanner. If you have other SCSI devices or a high-end scanner it might be worth it.
Q. What does Jaguar, Panther, and Tiger mean?
A. These are "code names" and some product names for Apple Operating System Ten or X. Jaguar is 10.2.8. Panther is 10.3.9. Tiger is 10.4x

A. Resetting NVRAM, PRAM, and the PMU: Using your keyboard simultaneously press and then releasing Shift-Control-Option-power on the keyboard while the system is off.

A. Yes. Everyone should have it. I know Mac users are less likely to be hit with a virus, but they can still pass them on if they are not running protection. All computer users should have Anti-Virus software running and you need to keep is current.
